Christopher J. Amentas is a 2001 graduate of Villanova University Law School, where he was on the writing staff of the Environmental Law Journal and the Chairperson of the Community Service Committee for the American Bar Association, Villanova Chapter. He is a 1997 graduate of Boston College, where he majored in English.

Before joining Powell Trachtman in 2007, Mr. Amentas worked in two law firms where he was responsible for a variety of commercial, personal injury and insurance litigation matters, including a national law firm where he focused on all phases of insurance coverage, products liability, and premises liability matters from inception through trial.

At Powell Trachtman Mr. Amentas focuses his practice on construction-related matters including defending the interests of contractors, construction managers, architects and engineers against tort, contract, and professional liability claims.

Mr. Recently, Mr. Amentas was enrolled in the 2008 First Judicial District Roll of Honor in recognition of his exemplary pro bono work.

Mr. Amentas is also an elected Supervisor of East Fallowfield Township in Chester County, Pennsylvania. As a Supervisor, Mr. Amentas, along with four other supervisors, is responsible for general Township governance.

Mr. Amentas is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania.
