What is New

We are pleased to announce that Michael J. Curry has joined the firm as a shareholder and Chairman of the Business Transactions and Planning Department. Mr. Curry is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Scranton, received his law degree from Temple University in 1984, and completed the Small Business Management Program at the Wharton School. Mr. Curry's practice focuses on business transactions and planning, and he has represented numerous large and small businesses and financial institutions in a wide variety of such matters throughout his career. Immediately prior to joining Powell, Trachtman, Mr. Curry was a partner in a large, international law firm headquartered in Philadelphia. Previous to becoming an attorney, Mr. Curry was an on-air broadcast journalist for a CBS television affiliate. He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

On April 6, 2000, Powell Trachtman will be co-sponsoring a program entitled: Risk Management for Design Professionals, which is being held in Philadelphia. Subjects we will be presenting are:
