Design Professional's Practice BulletinVolume 2, Number 1 — February 1998This Bulletin addresses recent developments affecting Design Professionals as well as business concerns as important as the specific professional and technical issues they face. Editors: Neil P. Clain and Richard J. Davies OSHA ADVISORS ON OSHA'S WEB SITEOSHA has developed programs ("Advisors") which are available on its web site (http://www.osha.gov) that can assist you in determining if, and which, OSHA regulations governing construction apply to a particular construction project or activity. These "Advisor" programs provide the questions (i.e., the logic tree) which you, a construction manager, or a contractor's supervisor would otherwise develop and need to answer to work through the maze of OSHA regulations, Letters of Interpretation and Directives to the Field. Certainly, these Advisors provide a tremendous time-saving device, better yet is their reliability since the programs are OSHA's and not those of a private vendor without the endorsement of OSHA. In light of the rulings from OSHRC profiled above, you should keep the Advisors in mind and OSHA's web site address handy. ©1998 Powell, Trachtman, Logan, Carrle & Lombardo, P.C.
