Harvey, Pennington's Architects and Engineers Group moves to Powell, Trachtman, Logan, Carrle, Bowman & Lombardo

Design Professionals...

In October, members of Harvey, Pennington's Architect/Engineer group -- Bruce P. Lombardo, Lawrence A. Borda, Neil P. Clain, Jr., Richard J. Davies, Frederick P. Warner and Salil P. Patel--joined King of Prussia based Powell, Trachtman, Logan, Carrle & Bowman, P.C., which has been renamed Powell, Trachtman, Logan, Carrle & Lombardo, P.C. These attorneys originated the Architects & Engineers Newsletter and have joined with their new colleagues at Powell, Trachtman to bring you this bulletin on matters of interest to the design community.

Powell,Trachtman was formed in 1988 to serve the architectural and engineering communities in a unique way. It resulted from the merger of two other law firms, one of which handled commercial litigation, transactional and business planning matters, the other of which focused exclusively on the representation of architects and engineers. The idea was to form a law firm that could serve the specialized needs of the design professional community, while at the same time handling the more generalized litigation and business concerns that architectural and engineering firms, like all businesses, must address. The idea worked-- in an era of law firm downsizing, Powell, Trachtman has more than tripled in size since its inception.

"I have been a friendly competitor of Powell,Trachtman for years," said Bruce Lombardo, who headed Harvey, Pennington's A/E team before joining Powell, Trachtman. "Over time, I realized Powell, Trachtman could provide services to my clients that I could not provide at Harvey, Pennington. The firm offers a 'one stop shopping' approach that the design professional community cannot find elsewhere." Powell, Trachtman has offices in Harrisburg and Cherry Hill, NJ, in addition to King of Prussia. We are now pleased to bring to you a publication which not only addresses recent developments in the A&E field, but addresses business concerns as important as the specific professional and technical issues you face.
