Frank Nofer was awarded his B.B.A. summa cum laude from the Temple University School of Business and Management in 1989, where he pursued a dual major in economics and finance. While at Temple, he was nominated to the Beta Gamma Sigma and Golden Key National Honor Societies. Mr. Nofer was awarded his law degree in 1993 from the Villanova University School of Law. Following graduation from law school, Mr. Nofer joined a distinguished Philadelphia area defense litigation firm where he was involved in litigating catastrophic personal injury and property damage claims. While with his former firm, Mr. Nofer's primary areas of practice included the defense of complex products liability, construction accident, premises liability, fire damage, motor vehicle, and professional liability claims on behalf of corporate and individual defendants. Mr. Nofer also handled a wide variety of insurance coverage disputes including claims for bad faith. Mr. Nofer joined Powell Trachtman in 2004, and continues to focus his defense litigation practice in these areas. Mr. Nofer is admitted to practice before the Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He is also a member of the American Bar Association. |
