Benjamin A. Andersen graduated from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri in 2005, where he placed in the top five percent of his class. He was elected to the Order of the Coif and the Order of Barristers, two of the law school's highest honors. While in law school, Mr. Andersen was a member of the Trial Team, a staff editor on the Washington University Journal of Law and Policy, and led the law school to the semi-finals of the National Environmental Moot Court Competition.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Andersen received a Bachelor Arts degree in Political Science from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in 2001. While at Lehigh, he was selected as Dean's Scholar and a Presidential Scholar.
Before joining Powell Trachtman, Mr. Andersen worked as a litigation associate with a large firm in Camden County, New Jersey.
Mr. Andersen's practice is focused on commercial litigation. He represents a variety of clients, including individuals, commercial enterprises and not-for-profit corporations. Mr. Andersen’s experience includes a variety of matters, including disputes involving breach of contract, entity ownership, commercial real estate, complex transactions, business torts and adversary proceedings in United States Bankruptcy Court.
Mr. Andersen is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
